Telio and Sipgate has implemented so called “peering”
For Telio customers, like me, this means that we can call Sipgate users “end-to-end-IP” unlimited for free.
If you are a Telio customer you can call Sipgate users by first dialing 000 777 xxx xxxx (7 digits Sipgate number).
Sipgate users can then of course call Telio customers by first dialing 000 555 xx xx xx xx (8 digits Telio number).
What I also noticed was that I can call unlimited for free all regular German free numbers (what we in Norway call “800 numbers”). In Germany that is both so called “800 numbers” and “130 numbers”. You call this numbers in the same way as all other German numbers (00 48 800 … and 00 48 130 …). These numbers will not be taken from the free 100 minutes you can call to abroad each month.
Telio tells that they haven’t had enough time to test these new services, so there could be some downtime.
