Telio will August 12th extend their free phone call offers to also include calls to Sweden and Denmark, as a Scandinavian flat rate.

For the first time, European consumers have the opportunity for unlimited free calling to regular telephones also outside their national borders.

Since the launch of its commercial service in February 2004, Telio has offered Norwegian consumers the opportunity for unlimited national calls for a fixed monthly fee of 159 NOK (approximately 19,50 Euro), combined with highly competitive rates to cellular and international destinations.

Starting August 12, Telio will increase the coverage of unlimited free calls to all of Scandinavia, and subscribers can for the same monthly fee place unlimited free calls to all fixed line phones in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

This will even reduce my phone bills even more, as I have some friends living in Sweden that I regular contact with (konrad and joppefan). I don’t miss Telenor a bit!
