A different kind of VoIP: Jajah
If you have tried VoIP yet, now is simply the time. Jajah is a solution where you don’t even have to install any kind of VoIP client on your machine. It is as they advertise it: “No headset, no download, no installation, use your normal phone (landline & mobile)”.
It’s a brilliant idea, simply visit their website, start with entering your own preferend phone number, then the phone number you want to call, press the call button, then walk to your phone and pick it up when it starts ringing!!! Jajah will call you both up. Rates are low and with a browser like Opera Mini, you can even use the solution on your mobile phone with ease. Desktop users should consider starting to use Plaxo Online or installing the Firefox extension (requires version 1.5.x). Best thing of all, this solution is OS independent, it should work on all operating systems with a decent browser.
Lets face it, the idea behind SIP is great, but using it has always been a hazzle!
