Friday afternoon I came home from work with fever, and was basically thinking: “Darn this is gonna be a long one!”. Needless to say that Friday eve was spent under a blanket on the sofa. Watched TV most of the evening and went early to bed. 10 hours later I woke up and fever was gone. Morning was spent out on town, drank a cup of coffee and visited all my favourite shops. In the evening we visited the local Oktoberfest. I went there with a few of my friends from Trolltech, and we were all surprised by the selection of German beer they had. Quite a few good ones. I also ran in to Tamás, a Hungarian friend of mine living here in Oslo.

The Sunday started with a nice breakfast and a great coffee. Yes Gustavo (a friend from Guatemala), I am drinking your coffee. It has an amazingly fresh taste. Quite different from the dark roasted coffee from Italy that I normally drink. I enjoyed most of the morning in the kitchen, reading this week’s Guardian Weekly. For dinner I prepared the Hungarian cuisine Hurka sausage (you got to see this commercial). Not healthy, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, but so good. God, I long to get back to the markets in Hungary eating this for breakfast!

Back to Dyveke bridge

In the afternoon I went for a long walk. First I went back to Dyveke bridge. I had to see the streetart/grafitti in daylight. Some of it is just amazing work on a very high level.

Leafs on a Bench

After a short trip to Gamlebyen, I continued my trip to Galgeberg and up to Vålerenga. I visited a few parks and took this beautiful picture in front of Vålerenga Church. Continued up Kampen and then home. Oslo is about to become colorful again, leafs are turning yellow and some already red. It is just a beautiful sight.

Smia

All in all, I guess I posted another 70 pictures on my Flickr account and today I past 2.000 uploaded pictures! But now I am to watch the Norwegian movie Buddy.
