Edward Munch has never been one of my favourite painters, but today Google used his most famous painting on the page for their search engine:

I found an article in Norwegian telling me why:

- The reason why we do this with Edvard Munch’s “Skrik” today, is that it is Munch’s birthday, says press contact Laura Ainsworth at Google to E24.

And Google has even asked Oslo kommune for permission to use the painting for their creative logo this one day. Do you want to see all the creative logos that Google has made through the years? Well, they are available on some web pages. Really a nice touch Google :-)
