Today I went out and preordered my HD DVD player for XBOX360. Komplett.no writes on their web page that they will probably get their first shipment of devices Feb 1st. I am not sure when Microsoft will officially launch the player in Norway, but is since late last year sold in Germany and United Kingdom. I have checked both Amazon.de and co.uk frequently, but they have always been out of stock.

Funny how XBOX360 seems to be so much more popular then Playstation 3! Shops are no longer been run down by people that want to buy a PS3. If you are living in U.S or Japan you can more or less walk in to any store and get one. What went wrong Sony?

The first movie I bought is Poseidon, according to IMDB a quite so average film. The next movie will of course be Serenity, and it will be ordered later today. I am a big Firefly fan, and of course I want to see Serenity in full HD! The online journal Xbox 360 Fanboy have started announcing weekly roundups of HD DVD releases.

I can’t wait to test it, both on my XBOX and my Vista machines. Expect a review of HD DVD in the first half of February, with a Full HD projector!
