Hi danttt,

my laptop only has a 64 MB ATI card, and I haven't got it working on the laptop's inbuilt screen, but not tried through VGA. DVI can actually work, I know for sure that the Dell screens that we are currently buying at work has DVI connection with HDCP support. Perhaps I can try it one day at work, but I currently quite busy :-(

Check for instance the Dell™ E228WFP, a great, sharp screen. Dell even writes that HDCP was added to enable viewing of protected high-definition content such as HD-format video. I hope this helps you.

Did you try to play HD movies with your XBOX HD DVD player connected to your Laptop? I am curious because I want to connect the MS HD drive to my laptop (GeForce Go7400 graphics) and hook it up via HDMI/DVI to my LCD panel (1080p). I suspect that this won't work as the DVI output has to support HDCP - I guess, however, it doesn't.
