I am not a great fan of Technorati. The concept is cool, but it is simply not working. I am using latest WordPress, and Technorati is not capable of fetching the blog entries I publish. According to them my blog is *dead* …, as I haven’t published anything the latest 402 days.

Fact is that I have lately had 2-3 blog entries weekly. The automatic ping service running on my WordPress installation has not helped, nor does manual pinging help. A perfect example on technology gone bad. And the result for me is obivous, my blog keeps dropping on their blog rankings. Contacting support didn’t help either, they have not replied to my question for help. The sad thing is that Technorati is more or less in a monopoly situation, I cannot name any other simular technology without having to google for it first!
