Yr.no running on my iPhone

A new Norwegian iPhone application is about to hit the AppStore. The application s i is a mobile service by Meteorologisk Institutt and NRK, based on their very popular web-based weather service, yr.no. The service is already available for mobile phones, and the software house Polleo made a free unofficial version for the iPhone, nWeather. nWeather had 2 147 Norwegian places (cities, towns and villages) connected with weather data from yr.no. The Lips Karaoke Game for XBOX 360

I am not much a gamer, and not a singer either. But having said that, I must add that I simply love the karaoke game Lips for XBOX 360. I saw a commercial of the game, where they played Young Folks (by Peter, Bjorn & John) and I was sold. I just had to buy the game and it was released just in time for the holiday season. I love some of the Web 2.0 ideas, Xobni and Slideshare, and how they have managed to combine desktop and cloud computing. Their add-ons to Microsoft Office applications, Outlook and Powerpoint, are simply brilliant. I am a frequent reader of WebWorkerDaily, and today I read for the first time about the Slideshare ribbon for Powerpoint 2007 (no, I don’t think it is backwards compatible with Powerpoint 2003!).
