There are many things that I would have liked to write about. But lately I have been first helping out my parents renewing their new apartment, and now I have started renewing my own. So why not follow this blog as the rooms are being worked on. The apartment is in a building that was built back in 1939. I got a new bathroom in place 3-4 years ago, so that stays untouched. Suggestions on how and what I should do, are of course welcome. First out is my bedroom and the roof. Here are the two first photos published on Flickr. I basically have to take down the whole roof and rebuild it. Later I will paint the walls and the radiator. I guess I can keep the floor.

And when you start, you fast realize that you are about to take down the whole roof! So also for me, sadly (but I knew what was waiting for me):

I can only look forward and not try to think to much of what I have of work a head of me. It’s a lot, but hopefully the room will be done before Easter. On this third photo, you see the main reason for why I wanted to renew the bedroom. That blue color is so not me! My idea is to paint the walls with a timeless color. The idea is white with a touch of grey. The paint is called “dunhvit” (feather white) in Norwegian.
