A few days ago I was contacted by Loreal Monroe, the Deputy Director of Forum For Urban Design, a non-profit organization based in New York. She asked me if the forum could use one of my pictures published on Flickr. They are going to holding a charette on the feasibility of implementing a bike share program in New York City. I have contributed with a landscape picture from Mindszent, Hungary, in the German bike magazine Radfahren SPEZIAL “RadParadiese ’07“. The picture was used in the article “Ungarn: Puszta per Pedal”. The publishers of the magazine sent me a copy of the issue, and I must say I enjoyed going through the different travelling tips. On the Beaches of Garrettstown, Ireland

This Easter I travelled with Ithamar Adema, to Ireland. I, as so often before, travelled with Ryanair. Ithamar flew with Air France through Paris. As we both live and work in the capitals of the countries we live in, we didn’t want to spend to much time in Dublin (Baile Átha Cliath) during Easter, as we expected it to be crowded with tourists. I have been away for three weeks. Sadly I must say that I never had such a bad weather during any of my previous holidays. I spent my holiday in Germany (Mannheim most, but also some days in Darmstadt and Frankfurt), and the last couple of days in the Netherlands. It was really great seeing my friends again, and not just spend hours on the Internet, mailing and chatting with them. As the weather was so bad, there was plenty of time for eating.
