RiksTV has managed to become the first to broadcast TV2 HD, which goes live on June 25th. The first show in HD is gonna be TV2′s own produced entertainment show “Allsang pÃ¥ grensen”, which will be a weekly show during the summer. HD Channels

It’s been a while since I last wrote about the HDTV channels I had. I recently changed subscription at Get, from Family to Family HD. The change of channel package only costed 10 NOK extra per month and gave me the following HD channels: MTV HD, SVT HD and Eurosport HD. Recently also BBC HD got added. Just as the last counties in Norway got digital TV signals, I upgraded my digital cabletv tuner to a HD PVR. Our first satelite channel, TV Norge (TVN), is today going HD. TVNorge HD will open with the world’s most expensive TV-series, Rome. Sadly the channel is a corporation between TVNorge og Canal Digital, and will therefor only be available for Canal Digital subscribers, via cabel and satelite. To receive the channel, you must also have an HD decoder, but the channel itself is free.
