Yesterday I got surprised. Little did I know of the movie I was about to see. But what a documentary it was and the story was just unbelievable. Have I already seen the best movie in 2013? Perhaps, and tonight I’ve been listening to two fantastic albums, Cold fact and Coming from reality (and there is also a soundtrack). All available on Spotify! The story is in short, an incredible true story of Rodriguez, the greatest ’70s rock icon who never was. Discovered in a Detroit bar […] Continue reading →
I am not a gamer, and I haven’t paid attention to what is happening on E3. But Microsoft’s keynote has not been about gaming, but rather how they are expanding the Xbox ecosystem – with, among other things, Internet Explorer and Xbox SmartGlass. Yes, battle for the living room is on! The SmartGlass announcement came as a surprise to me. According to Microsoft “Xbox SmartGlass” is a system that integrate your big-screen TV with your console, your tablet, your […] Continue reading →
This is the first short movie shot and edited entirely on an iPhone that I have heard of, and the result is really not bad. Isn’t it impressive? Director Michael Koerbel of Makek Pictures notes that the short took 48 hours to create from start to finish. […] Continue reading →
I have been a paying customer over at Spotify for a few months, and I’m absolutely thrilled about how great the service work. It’s a kind of cloud computing that I like and it completely changed how I listen to music. I haven’t bought a single CD since I signed up. I love watching movies, and have had Betamax, VHS, DVD and HD DVD systems through the years, and I am currently using Blu-ray as my preferred way of watching movies. I realize that I basically have had all the […] Continue reading →
Not all Web 2.0 services make it. And not everything Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, founders of Skype, touch turns to gold. They are, according to IDG.se, pulling the plug on Joost. There are not many video solutions that have really succeeded in this area, Youtube and Vimeo, are not direct competitors. And Hulu is only available in U.S, iPlayer from BBC only in U.K, other services are also not available worldwide. But I can see that the amount of national services made it difficult for […] Continue reading →
