Windows 8 cannot be said to be anything else then a disaster for Microsoft. I like Windows 8 and run it both on my desktop computer at work and at home. I am even one of the few that has a Windows Phone 8! But the latest numbers from Net Applications tells it all, Windows 8 is only found on 3.17% of computers, a small increase from February’s 2.67% share. I got the question from a Windows user, how do you quickly lock your screen on a Mac when running out of office? There is at least two ways of doing this: You can use a menu bar item. The setting for that is not placed in the most obvious place. Launch Keychain Access and go to Preferences. In the General tab, check the box for “Show keychain status in menu bar”. Computing will never be the same. This week I got to test a retina display for the first time on a laptop. Never has it been more fun to look through my bird photographies and never have I with such easy read longer articles on a computer screen.
