The German online computer magazine Golem.de has a five page long review of the ebook device Cybook Gen3 from Bookeen. I have been a frequent user of The New York Times on my iPhone, and my anticipations for their similar application, Times Reader 2.0, for the computer desktop were high. I haven’t written about eBooks for a while, but I am still just as enthustiastic about it! Today I read on one of my favorite technews sites, Gizmodo, that an ebook management software was released. I have just had a quick look at it, and I must admit that I am impressed! calibre is a ebook library management application, and can of course also be used as an ebook viewer. My Kindle (2nd generation)

Amazon released Kindle 2 yesterday. I must say that it is a bit to expensive, US $ 359. The price makes it compete with small laptops, like the popular “netbooks”. But having said that, you have free wireless with Verzion. Yepp, you read correctly, Amazon pays the bill. Reviews seem to conclude with it is close to perfect! Bookeen today announced that they have signed an agreement with Adobe to license the Adobe Reader Mobile SDK for its products.
