I guess this might be the next big thing for VoIP. I am at least mighty impressed! I have for some time been looking for a new mobilephone, and today I bought a Nokia E60 for 1 NOK, simply cause it has built in wifi. Why? I wanted to start using Fring. Fring is for now at least free, and is a multi IM client supporting Google Talk, Skype and MSN. Fring is making use of a patent pending P2P Mobile VoIP technology. The requirements are a Nokia Symbian-based phone with GPRS, UMTS and wifi. As […] Continue reading →
I recently chose to change VoIP supplier from Telio to Phonzo. There were mainly two reasons for that: Unlimited free calls to Hungary. VoIP client for my smartphone. Another great thing is that the VoIP adapter is delivered by Linksys. But it must be said, Telio delivered. My only problem was that I only got a 100 minutes free phone calls to Hungary each month. Not the adapter and an analoge phone. At the moment the softphone is only available for Windows, but hopefully we can expect versions for PocketPC, Linux and MacOS X. The service is still in a beta, but my first experiences with the solution is great. The service is free for excisting Telio […] Continue reading →
I have been a Telio user, no a satisfied Telio user, for more then a year, and their services become more and more impressive. It started with free calls to all house phones in Norway, and later also to Sweden. Then unlimited free calls to Western-Europe, United States and Canada, and a 100 free minutes per month to another 15 countries (Eastern-Europe, Japan, China, New Zealand and Australia). From August 1st they are revolutioning the telecom market in Scandinvia once again. From that […] Continue reading →
