I have the last days gotten a lot of questions about what I think about MacOS X 10.5. I sadly cannot tell you yet, but I will be getting a copy of Leopard from the central computer department at work on Monday or Thuesday. I hope to be able to install it on a test machine the very same day. I am eager to try many of the new features, but there are also features that we will not be getting full benefit from, as for instance Time Machine. If I have understood it correctly, you will not be […] Continue reading →
It’s time to upgrade my XBOX 360 with Microsoft’s latest patch. The new features are mainly the video codecs H.264 and MPEG4. Nullriver Software was out with updating their Connect360 for MacOS X. He recently published another 22 photos that is free for you to enjoy. These can be downloaded in hi-res versions from his Web site. Enjoy! […] Continue reading →
The Thinkpad T60 works perfectly with Ubuntu, and I have also installed the ATI’s linux driver for the X1300. I now have 3D hardware accelleration, and it made me migrate completly away from ZETA. But as we will be migrating many of our scientific staff at work to Vista and Office 2007, my main OS is and will be Vista. I am running Ubuntu Edy Eft, but during the weekend tested Feisty Fawn beta 2. I decided to downgrade again for now, as I didn’t manage to get the ATI binaries […] Continue reading →
